After the declaration of results for GAT-B 2025, candidates must download their Score and Rank Card only from the official NTA website.
Note: The GAT-B Score and Rank Card will not be available on any other website.
The DBT - PG HRD-PMU has provided details of DBT supported PG programmes, participating institutions, available seats, and eligibility criteria on the official portal PG HRD-PMU.
For institution-specific admission processes, candidates must visit individual university/institution websites and apply as per their norms.
After the admission list is displayed, candidates must contact the respective DBT PG Program Coordinators for guidance on admission procedures and related queries.
The GAT-B 2025 Score and Rank Card is valid only for admissions in the academic year 2025–26.
Possession of a scorecard does not guarantee admission to DBT supported PG programmes. Admission is subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria of the individual institutions.
The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), GoI and RCB do not play any role in the admission/selection process of participating universities/institutions after the GAT-B merit list is published.
Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2025
Participating universities/institutions shall publish their eligibility criteria, DBT sanctioned seats, seat matrix, and information following the Reservation Policy of Government of India on their institutional websites, admission bulletins, and notices for DBT supported Post Graduate Programmes in Biotechnology for the academic session 2025–2027.
Admissions and selection shall be conducted by each institution as per their institutional norms. The list of selected and waitlisted candidates should be displayed on the institutional websites. All institutions must follow the Reservation Policy of Government of India.
Institutions should not charge any application fee from GAT-B 2025 qualified candidates. However, fee collection from admitted students may be done later along with tuition fees, subject to individual institutional policies.
Participating institutions may allow one-time transfer of a candidate during the academic session 2025–27. Fee refunds shall be processed as per UGC norms.
Institutions should strictly follow the admission timelines as per the schedule proposed for GAT-B 2025 for DBT supported PG programmes.
